Rev. Father Cheitnum and his colleague, Reverend Father Donatus Cleopas, were kidnapped by terrorists at the rectory of Christ the King Catholic Church, Yadin Garu in Lere Local Government Area of the state on Friday, July 15, 2022.
The decomposing body of the priest was discovered at a farm in a nearby village on Tuesday, July 19, while Reverend Father Cleopas, escaped from the abductors.
In a Facebook post dated May 25, 2022, the cleric wrote: “If Peter Obi joins lizard party, I go follow go vote am there”
