The candidate for All Progressives Congress,(APC) in Delta State House of Assembly for Ndokwa West Constituency for 2023 General Election, Chief Valentine Oyemike Nneoma on Tuesday, 16th August 2022 visited the 2nd batch beneficiaries of the “Free Digital literacy skill program” sponsored by his foundation at the FREE ICT Center in Kwale, the Headquarter of Ndokwa West local government area.
Chief. Valentine Oyemike Nneoma while addressing the beneficiaries of the free ICT training noted the importance of Digital skills in today’s world, he urged them to seized the opportunity to acquire the best digital knowledge which is highly needed in this 21st century.
According to his statement, “Digital Skill is essentially the ability to understand and make use of digital technologies. This is increasingly now important in this century and the generation to come, as the digital technology is speedily becoming an essential component of our lives today”
“I must inform you that ICT is contributing massively to the growing economy of most advance countries, even in Nigeria'”
He added that “the foundation is determined to invest more in human capital development, most especially to the younger generation, by expanding the windows of opportunities for self development in ICT skills”.
Also speaking at the event, Director General of Oyemike campaign organization, Comrd. Jerry Onyeka Ugboma warned the beneficiaries against using the basic digital knowledge for mischief purpose and encourage them to maximize the positive aspect of the acquired ICT Skills.
In his closing remark, Mr. Obadiah an ICT instructor on behalf of the staffs and trainees commended Chief. Valentine Oyemike Nneoma for his humanitarian and philanthropic projects/programs to impact lives of the people and prayed that God continuous providence should bestow on him, most especially a victorious journey comes 2023.
