The People’s Democratic Party(PDP) flag bearer for House of Representative in Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency, Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi visits his ward, ward 4, which comprised of Beneku, Okpai and Utchi in Ndokwa East Local Government Area of Delta State. It was an official visit to his ward after the 2022 electoral victory at the primaries. The House of Representative candidate’s first place of call was the palace of His Royal Majesty, The Igwe of Okpai Kingdom, Igwe Goldring Ugbome 11, where he was given royal blessings. The PDP executives, members and well-wishers in Ndokwa-East Local Government Area and other local Government Areas were present at the occasion. Okpai kingdom was agog.
In his speech, he emphasized that the people of Ndokwa should first and foremost appreciate the Almighty God for His hand upon his candidature and also thank His Excellency, the executive governor of Delta State, Sen.(Dr.) lfeanyi Okowa for finding him worthy for the exalted position. He equally appealed to the people to continue to support him because, if elected into office he will do everything within his power to create job opportunities for Ndokwa people.
Furthermore, he addressed the issue of the Independent Power Plant(IPP) at Okpai, which supplies electricity to Aso Rock and other states of the federation. He frowned at the situation where Ndokwa communities lie in darkness while electricity is generated in the land and distributed across the nation with utter neglect of Ndokwa nation. He therefore promised to address the ugly situation if elected into the Green Chambers. Though, it was a homecoming, he said, he will make his campaign promises to Ndokwa nation when the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officially opens the door for campaigns.

He further stated that when he was Executive Assistant (EA) to the governor on youth’s development, he paid monthly stipends to fifty (50) youths across the three Local Government Areas that make up the Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency. Comrade Obi, enjoined the good people of Ndokwa to whole-heartedly support Hon. Ezechi, because if he can do these when he was a Commissioner and Executive Assistant, if he is made a member of the National House of Representative, Ndokwa as an ethnic nationality will take its pride of place
