The need for synergy and collective commitments among all members of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Asaba branch to drive the association to enviable height has been stressed.
The newly elected Chairman of the NBA, Asaba branch, Mr. Precious Nwadimuya stated this in Asaba while speaking with newsmen shortly after he was declared the winner of the election.
Mr. Nwadimuya said that he had been rendering services to the Nigeria Bar Association, and it was expected that members reciprocated the initiative by electing him as their chairman.
While pledging to carry his members along in the scheme of things, Mr. Nwadimuya urged his opponents to see the outcome of the election as a family affair, just as he enjoined them to contribute meaningfully to the growth of the association.
He said that there would be a platform for them to drive their vision, adding that they all had the interest of NBA at heart, hence they all contested for one position or the other.
He told his people that as the new Chairman, he would be a servant leader who is made to serve diligently by operating an open door policy of administration where he will carry everyone along.
The new Chairman call for useful advice that will make him and his team have a successful tenure, but not unnecessary criticisms that would be inimical to them as a body.
He appreciated all those who came out to give him the massive votes which made him got the victory at the polls, pledging that he would not disappoint the group in any way.
Mr. Thomas Anigara who came second at the poll embraced the winner immediately the results were announced by the returning officer, pledging that he will give the new executive officers his support for them to succeed.
