Members of National Association of Patient and Proprietary Medicine Dealers, NAPPMED Ogume Zone 1 conducted her election yesterday, August 30, 2023.
The election was supervised by the executive of Ndokwa West chapter as enshrined in their constitution. The delegation from Ndokwa West led by chief Sunday Iduh ( chairman Ndokwa West chapter of NAPPMED) who later appointed the trio of Alex Chegwe, Ferdinand Okwuose and Elvis Olise as Returning Officers.
At the end of the exercise the following people emerged winners. Emmanuel Nzei, Chairman, Festus Anwushi, Vice Chairman, Basil Olu, Secretary, Tina Ebuzome, Assistant Secretary and Prosper Onwuma, Treasurer. Others were Nkechi Onyia, Financial Secretary, Ifeanyi Ejike, Publicly Secretary, Ojo Osakwe, Provost 1 and Ruth Ojinika, Provost 2. They will run the affairs of the association in the next two years.
The election was free, fair, transparent and credible.
The chairman, Ndokwa West chapter of NAPPMED Mr Sunday Iduh performed the swearing-in ceremony. He urged them to the imbibe the culture of oneness and to shun all manners of derision.
In his acceptance speech on behalf of other elected officers, the new chairman Mr Emmanuel Nzei thanked the Ndokwa West exco for finding time to come for the election and the entire members of Ogume Zone 1 for the peaceful conduct of the election. He promised to operate open door policy and to run the affairs of the association to the envy of others.
