Reveal: Shell Plans To Resume Work Activities In Warri

The Commissioner for Oil and Gas Delta state, Chief. Hon. Vincent Oyibode has revealed that Warri city to return to it old glory as shell Nigeria plans to return it work activities in the city.

Oyibode disclosed this to newsmen at Asaba while presenting 2024 proposed budget for the ministry.

He noted that the MORE Agenda of the state governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborewori is to ensure peace and security in the state and attract meaningful development with realistic opportunity for all Deltans.

He added that the administration, which is piloted by a grassroot governor, knows what is right for the state.

He said, “we meet with the top management of shell Nigeria and the country chairman, we gave them reasons why they should come”.

He continued, ” this administration with the “MORE AGENDA” is keyed into peace and security, meaningful development with realistic opportunity for all”.

He maintained “This administration is grass rooted and all ethnic nationalities work together for the growth of the state, you can see there is no crisis in warri and Delta state at large”.

Adding separately, the Commissioner for Economy Planning, Hon. Sonny Ekedeyan revealed that Delta should expect more on quality infrastructural development that will be impactful on the people directly and immensely.

He also noted that the state government is hoping to revive the Agro- processing industries in the state.

According to him, ” Delta state should expect more, the pase of infrastructural development will be intensified, we will emphasize quality projects and dive into aspect that impact on the people directly and immensely”.

“From Education, agriculture, health care, human capital development, the state government is hoping to revive the Agro-processing industries in the state”.
