Go-Wellness Worldwide a network marketing company of Ruzu Herbal Products and Services Ltd was unveiled on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Lagos Travel Inn Hotel, Toyin Street, Lagos.
Speaking at the occasion, the National President of Actors Guild of Nigeria, Dr Ejezie Emeka Rollas said he decided to honour the invitation in person with some members of his exco as a payback to the management of Ruzu Herbal Products and Services Ltd. According to the veteran actor the Managing Director of the company, Dr Robert Uzu had given his products to some members of Actors Guild of Nigeria and members of their families free of charge and that they had testified to the efficacies of the products. He said the contributions of Dr Uzu to the well being of Nigerian actors are enormous and one of the ways to appreciate him was to attend the programme, adding that he would ensure that the Actors Guild of Nigeria partners with Ruzu Herbal Products and Services Ltd for mutual benefits.
Earlier in his address, Hon Okey-Joe Onuakalusi, member representing Oshodi/Isolo federal constituency 1 ably represented by Mazi Chuks Nwosu appreciated the management of Ruzu Herbal Products and Services Ltd for coming up with their product line. He said there was need for federal government to encourage indigenous companies. He went further to say that if federal government could encourage indigenous herbal companies like Ruzu Herbal Products and Services Ltd they would create more employment opportunities and increase Growth Domestic Products, GDP.
The emotion ladden speech of Dr Robert Onyemaechi Uzu saw everyone gasping for speech. He told the story of how he started the business with his wife using their cooking pot to cook the roots and herbs in order to achieve given end after which he would go and hawk in the bus popularly known as Molue in Lagos. “That was then! It is now a success story and Ruzu Herbal Products and Services Ltd has turned a conglomerate with over ten brands”, he intones. He used the occasion to appreciate those who stood by him in different ways.
Educating the guests scientifically about the composition of Ruzu products, Prof MacDonald Idu through a projector marshalled the points and proved beyond reasonable doubt the safety of the products. He was quite thorough in his analysis and education.
Among the dignitaries that graced the occasion were Ohaneze Ndigbo of Lagos, HRH Eze Nwosu Kingsley, HRH Eze Lawrence Nnamdi, HRH Eze Nwokedi Okpoko 1 and Engr Dr Yakubu Daziah. Others were Dr Emeka Rollas, veteran actor Alex Usifor, veteran actor Sony McDons, veteran actress Chinyere Wilfred, Mrs Ijeoma Chukwu, Mr Mike Molokwu, Go-Wellness Worldwide Ambassador among others.
