A general meeting of Okukwe Ogume Development Association took
place on 22nd November, 2021 and approved the composition of the
Board Of Trustees for the Association. The members who were
inaugurated include:
- Dr Joe Alumonah, chairman
- Rt Maj Babs Usman Agali, President/Member
- Dr Tony Ossai Ebinum,Member
- Chief (Engr) Dan Iwenjiwe Achuba, Member
- Dr chukudi Ojodume Okuguni, member
In order to Drive, Deepen & Sustain the path to the Unity of Ogume, the
Association approved the following strategies:
- Foster inter-quarter unity through Age groups Social interactions
- Ensure equitable distribution of infrastructure & amenities in
Ogume community. - Strongly Encourage inter clan social interactions during festivals.
Okukwe Ogume Development Association further mandated the
Executive Council (CEXCO) to vigorously collaborate with the seven (7)
Quarters of Ogume Clan to ensure that the youths in the communities
are properly reoriented and inculcated with good values with a view to
stemming the deteriorating education standard and security situation.
