LG Election: Egbo Vows To Improve Security, Education In Ughelli North

The Chairmanship candidate for People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) in the July 2024 Local Government election, for Ughelli North, Olorogun Jaro Egbo has vowed to improve on security, education and environmental health wise of the Local Government if elected.

Hon. Egbo the PDP Chairmanship hopeful, spoke to journalists during an interview at Asaba, said the leadership of the party has considered him worthy among all the ably qualified aspirants that were eyeing the position, but noted that the party feels his services will be better served in the local government and to the state.

Egbo added that as a grassroots politician and someone who understood the activities of the local government in Ughelli North he can surpass the opposition.

Accounting to him, “if i moved to my Local Government in Ughelli, where you all know is the opposition for APC in Delta state, but with my experience, I would be able to turn things round, and I have to harken to the call of my party to move back to Ughelli because party is supreme”

He continued ” I see my services to my people as 3 years assignment and I know by God’s grace, I will do very well in my serving”

” I have all it takes to make my people happy, I have that experience and know what it takes, I have been there before and know the place very well,” he added

“I believe there are things I also have in mind to put or do within the party, it is not about Senator Ovie Omo-Agege or somebody else, but it is about what the Ughelli people want, I pray to God that God should give me wisdom and courage to act right so that we can change the story in Ughelli”.

” If I am elected, the first thing is step up security architecture because there had been an upsurge of security challenges not particularly to Ughelli but in the entire country, also, my administration will improve on the education, increase the IGR of the Local Government
