The Executive Chairman of Ukwuani Local Government area, Hon. Barr C.S.P Ajede has inaugurated the 20 elected councilors with a charge to put the interest of the Ukwuani people first in the discharge of their responsibilities while adding that a good working synergy borne out of genuine commitment and patriotism will quicken the rate of development in the Local Government.
The Councilors inaugurated include:
Hon. Melvin Onyeka — ward 1.
Hon. Olise Loveth Princess — ward 2.
Hon. Durell Kenchoni Ossai — ward 3.
Hon. Uche Ilogo Good luck — ward 4.
Hon. Oji Ikechwukwu — ward 5.
Hon. Ishie Damian Idowu — ward 6.
Hon. Ossaiugba Gaventa Chinedu — ward 17.
Hon. Eleh Chukwudi — ward 9.
Hon. Gabriel Otunuya Ibobo — ward 10.
Hon. Ekule Tennyson Awele — ward 20.
Hon. Christian Odalonu — ward 8.
Hon. Ngozi Osakuni-Dafe Sophia — ward 14.
Hon. Emeka Felix Aghaiji — ward 11.
Hon. Enefazu Frank Roy — ward 16.
Hon. Ekpenuma Lucky — ward 12.
Hon. Chukwuemeka Victor Kenneth — ward 19.
Hon. Kelvin Dameh Onyeka — ward 18.
Hon. Ossai Chineye — ward 15.
Hon. Oguye Onyenichie Frankmayor — ward 7.
Hon. Joyce Ebinum Anwuli — ward 13.
Barr. C.S.P Ajede in his speech congratulated the Councilors on their victory in the Saturday’s July 13th 2024 Local Government Election. He welcomed them to the council and assured them that the Executive Arm will work with the legislatures to actualize the “DoMoreAgenda” of his administration.
The council boss urged the elected Councilors to deliver on the mandate given to them by the good people of Ukwuani.
Speaking further, Barr. Ajede said with the support and cooperation of the Councilors, they will achieve more in actualizing the campaign promises made to the Ukwuani people to deliver on the “DoMoreAgenda”.
Barr. Ajede also reiterated that his administration will give adequate attention in the areas of security, agriculture,women and youth empowerment, health care and other vital needs for Ukwuani people. He advised the Councilors to always respect and honour their leaders even as they carry out their legislative business.
In her acceptance speech, Hon. Ngozi Osakuni-Dafe Sophia thanked the Executive Chairman, Hon. Barr. Ajede, PDP party leaders even as she pledged the loyalty of the Councilors to the council boss, adding that they would provide all the necessary supports and cooperation towards the actualization of the “DoMoreAgenda” in Ukwuani Local Government.
