The Commissioner for Special Projects, Delta state, Barr. Funyei Manager has called on Deltans to give more support for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration, saying that the Governor means well to better the lives of all.
The commissioner who spoke to journalists on Tuesday at the state Secretariat said Governor Oborevwori has promised to do MORE for Deltans and he meant exactly what he preaches, and he is doing more.
Manager stated further that the construction of the three flyover bridges in Warri have turned the city into a construction site, and demonstrated the testimony of the MORE AGENDA of the Governor.
Manager explained that the construction of the flyover projects was slated for three phases and that the construction giant, Julius Berger , had been given the assess to the right of way to enable the firm to take possession of the site.
He maintained that due to the heavy construction works that is ongoing at the Enerhen junction axis of one of the flyover projects, alternative routes had been created for motorists and people to cushion the effect of lack of mobility to making sure that those living within the neighborhood where the project is taking place are taking care off.
According to him, “the Enerhen junction front has been cut off, and we have created alternative routes for people and motorist to take and little way to cushion the effect of lack of mobility because of the construction of the site to making sure that those living within neighborhood where the project is taking place are taking care off so that the project will not disturb them”.
He, however, appealed to Deltans to be more supportive of the present administration just as they demonstrated in their votes in the 2023 governorship election for Oborevwori.
