Onotu Henry Okechukwu Hails Senator Omo-Agege At 61

A prominent leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State, South-South Nigeria, Onotu Henry Okechukwu, has felicitated with the former Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, CFR as the popular lawmaker clocks 61 years on Saturday, August 3, 2024.

The congratulatory message to the Orogun-born politician was contained in a statement issued by the APC Chieftain in Asaba, the Delta State capital, Tuesday where he eulogized the former Deputy Senate President for his giant strides while he held sway in the 9th Senate, saying, the APC leader took senatorial representation beyond his Delta Central constituency to Ndokwa land in an exemplary manner never seen before.

The birthday celebration of Senator Omo-Agege, Onotu Okechukwu noted offers the opportunity to reflect on his visionary leadership and his statesmanship, saying he has an extraordinary political credentials which attested to his bravery and pan Nigerian nationalism stressing that politicians like the birthday celebrant is uncommon in “Our clime due to his large heart and his leadership prowess.”

Onotu Okechukwu specifically said the former Deputy President of the Senate etched his name in gold by facilitating the establishment of the Federal University of Medical and Health Sciences in Kwale, which he maintained is the first of its kind in Ndokwa soil whereas the PDP in over 25 years of political dominance in that Federal Constituency had carried on as if “We, don’t matter in Ndokwa.

Ensuring that the Federal University kicks off on time even after he left office as the deputy Senate President marks him out as exemplary leader.

Additionally, Onotu Henry Okechukwu references the ongoing solar light project in the ancient kingdom of Aboh, the headquarters of Ndokwa East saying, not even one politician of PDP could achieve such feat.


He also installed sollar Lights in Utagba Uno, Obinomba and St George’s College Obinomba.

Furthermore, the APC stalwart who is an Alumnus of the Saint George’s College, Obinomba noted that Senator Omo-Agege who is also an ‘Eminent Old Boy’ gave the citadel a face lift that gave the school an edge among its contemporaries. “Raising the standard of the facilities in the school including the modern ICT centre and other key facilities are effort worth commendable. He said the students, the management and the Old Boys are eternally grateful to the former Deputy President President.

I and my household join leaders of Ndokwa nation across political strata to pay glowing tribute to him on the occasion of his birthday celebration. He made us understand that only political will and good conscience can develop a people and he demonstrated this across the length and breadth of Ndokwa.

“As this political collosus celebrates his birthday, I owe it a duty to felicitate and celebrate with him and I pray for his birthday to open a vista of more progress, upliftment, excellence, accomplishment and long life.
