As part of the strategic plans to better deliver his administration’s #DoMoreAgenda, the Executive Chairman of Ukwuani Local Government, Hon (Barr) C.S Possible Ajede, today received the report of the Ukwuani Strategic Policy Council (USPC).

The Ukwuani Council Boss, during the report presentation ceremony, expressed his appreciation to the members of the Policy Council and commended them for the diligence, thoroughness, and excellence that went into the preparation, documentation, and presentation of the 92-page policy document.

In his brief speech, Barr Ajede assured that his administration will commence the immediate study of the strategic policy document and subsequently implement some of the practicable and actionable recommendations in the report.

Speaking further, he said, “Now that we have received the report and recommendations of this Policy Council, we will spring into action to carefully study the document, align it with the #DoMoreAgenda template, and kick off with implementations,” he stated.

“For us, this is not just a document/report but a strategic actionable developmental framework. As we progress in this administration, every member of this committee will clearly see that we are indeed working with the recommendations that have been made,” he added.

According to him, the presentation of the report by the Policy Council was a strategic step in the right direction towards the multifaceted development of Ukwuani LGA. Success in most things comes not from some gigantic stroke of fate, but from simple, incremental progress. Today, with the presentation of this report, we are taking a monumental step forward in the overall development of the Ukwuani Local Government Area,” he stated.

Earlier in his remarks, the Ukwuani Strategic Policy Council Coordinator, Ven. Frank Emeni, thanked the Chairman for giving members of the committee the privilege to serve in his administration and to come up with a practicable working document.

He appealed that the report and recommendations contained in it be put to use for the greater good of the LGA.

Highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of triplicate hard copies and a soft copy of the Policy Council’s Report to the Executive Chairman of Ukwuani Local Government, Hon (Barr) C.S Possible Ajede by the USPC Coordinator.
