The Executive Chairman of Ukwuani Local Government, Hon Barr CSP Ajede, played host to the Association of Wives of Treasurers to Local Government (TLG), female TLG’S, and wives of Head of Personnel Management (HPM) who were on a courtesy call from the 25 LGA’S in Delta State.
During the visit, the Ukwuani council Boss expressed his gratitude to the group for the courtesy visit and the honour of having the council host them. He applauded the women for extending their motherly love and humanitarian gesture to orphanage homes in the LGA.
In their remarks,the group expressed delight in meeting the chairman and the management of the council.
The group prayed God’s continued wisdom and grace upon the chairman to continue to DO MORE for the Ukwuani people.
During the meeting,the association inaugurated their new Excos which has Mrs Hope Ighomorore Orph as the president.
The outgoing president, Revd Mrs Ebonka enjoined the newly inaugurated Excos to see the task ahead as a call to serve and encourage them to be up and doing.
The high point of the event was the visit to Alpha and Omega orphanage homes at Obiaruku where items worth millions of Naira were presented to them.
