Community Newspaper Publishers under the aegis of Association of Community Newspaper Publishers of Nigeria (ACNPN),will be holding its annual lecture/awards Ceremony on the theme: “Imperative of Cooperative Societies, it’s Impact on Nigerians and Nigeria Economic Growth” and “The Incessant Killings in the Country, Buiding Synergy Between the Government and Grassroots for Effective Remedy”slated for November 28,2024.
Its Chairman,Publishers Media Week Committee, Comrade Ike Philip Abiagom, said this at a news conference yesterdays on activities to mark the 2024 Publishers’ Media Week.
According to the Publishers Media Week Committee Chairman, Comrade Ike Philip Abiagom, the Publishers week is a time for Publishers to brainstorm on crucial issues of national interest and exercise their bodies through sporting activities.
a public lecture/Media awards would hold on November 28th at the Vienna International Hotel,DBS Road,Asaba and lecture would be delivered by Pastor Idowu Okeze and ACP Alex Udeze.
The occasion would be chaired by Chief C.N.Okwuekenye,Chairman and Founder, Calvary Polytechnic,Owa Oyibu,Delta State and twenty five great Nigerians will be recognised and honoured at the great grassroots event. The Royal Fathers of the Day will be HRM Obi Fredrick Egbunkony ll,Igwe of Abala kingdom.
Publishers Media Week Committee Chairman said the council would pay a visit to the Orphanages in Asaba and Ibusa on the 27th of November 2024 and he called for donations of clean and decent clothing, shoes, food, books and other items for the Orphanage children and adults.
