The Special Adviser to Delta State Governor on project monitoring, Engr. Good news Agbi has restated that the state governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has zero tolerance for shoddy jobs and that any contractors that fail to meet the standard will be returned to site.
The Special Adviser stated this on Tuesday while addressing journalists at the State House of Assembly that His Excellency has zero tolerance for bad jobs, adding that with MORE AGENDA of the Governor for Deltans contractors must up their games and do the best jobs.
He explained that in the course of their project monitoring across the state, whenever any bad job that is not up to standard is discovered, we drew the attention of the contractor to re-work or stopped him.
He said; “some of you who been on the social media, you will see some of the project we have visited across the state, the ones we have discovered, and the ones we asked them to redo, and the ones we even asked them to stop”.
He continued; “all the contractors are working, but not all that are doing a good job, so where they are doing bad jobs, I tell them to stop, and we correct them”.
We have been hitting on the contractors throughout the 2024 budget, so, the 2025 budget does not make any different. Any contractor that doesn’t do his work, we will call them back to site, the Governor has zero tolerance for bad job, and with the MORE AGENDA you most up your games and that is what we have been going round the state telling the contractors, and they abide by it.
