Community Newspaper Publishers under the aegis of Association of Community Newspaper Publishers of Nigeria ( ACNPN), Delta State Council will on Thursday, November 28, 2024 honour the Garrison Commander, 63 Brigade, Nigeria Army, Asaba, Delta State, Brig-Gen, Mohammed Sheriff Kaigama and other prominent Nigerians.
The event which is slated to take place at Vienna Hotel DBS Road, Asaba at 10:00AM will attract dignitaries from different walks of life.
Briefing journalists at the Association’s Secretariat at No 3, Chukwurah Close Off Anwai Road, the Chairman, Comrade Jude Obiemenyego disclosed that the essence of the annual event of the Association is where to recognize personalities who have distinguished themselves in career, business, community and political development. According to Obiemenyego, the theme of this year’s lecture is ‘”The Incessant Killings In The Country, Building Synergy Between The Governments And Grassroots for Effective Remedy”.
The ACNPN Chairman noted that the line up of activities to mark the 2024 Publisher’s Media Week, include lecture/award ceremony, visitation of Old people’s home, Novelty football Match, Quiz Competition for Students and Road walk
Other guests expected at the occasion are Chairman, NDDC, Commissioner Of Police, Delta State Command, Asaba Area Commander, ACP Alex Udeze, former Attorney General and Commissioner Of Justice, Delta State, Hon Peter Mrakpor (SAN), Mr Emeke Ochonogor amongst other.
