Thousands of muslims in Asaba, Delta State, converged on various venues to observed Eid prayers to make the end of the Ramadan fasting.
Speaking with journalists at the federal college of education technical mosque, Asaba, muslims in their number offered gratitude to Allah for giving them strength to complete the Ramadan fasting.
The Chief Imam, Dr. Alhaji Yinusa Adekola who led the Eid prayers, urged the muslim faithful to continue to appreciate Allah everyday and be good to one another.
Yinusa added that, the relevant of Eid prayer and fasting teaches the Muslims to be very patient with themselves, fellow human beings and with God.
He maintained that, the celebration is a means of giving thanks to almighty God for his guidance over mankind.
He noted that, we should love one another and at all time be thankful to God, be supportive of the plight of good governance in Nigeria.
The Chief Imam, calls on leaders of the country to do things that is right, the people are hungry, no employment for the masses which brings about high rate of crime in the country.
He said that, they should be good governance, provision of infrastructure, means of employment and provision of food for the masses.
He added that, money mearnt for the masses should be given to them and when the leaders fail to do so, Allah will query them in the day of judgement, Yinusa warned.
