The Member Representing Aniocha/Oshimili in the National Assembly, Sen. Ned Nwoko said that, the governor of Delta State, Elder Sheriff Oborevwori has warned his exco members to say away from Anioma creation agenda.
Hon. Ned Nwoko gave this hint, on Thursday, during the international women’s day celebration at twixwin hotel/suite, Elue Omezie off Isah road Ogwashi-Uku, Delta State.
The said international women’s day celebration able led by the founder, Rita Daniels Foundation, Chief Hon. Dame Rita Daniels Chukwuji.
Nwoko added that, drama started when he raised the motion of creating anioma state at the national assembly which he believes to be a welcome development to the good people of anioma, Delta State.
He said that, immediately the motion was raised at the hallow chambers, the governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori and his PDP party faithful started raising eyebrow on him.
The lawmaker maintained that, Sheriff Oborevwori made it clear that any commissioner that will be in support of anioma creation agenda will be sack from office.
He noted that, he decided to live the PDP party as member and decamped to the APC party as a carried member and have gotten support from the anioma son/daughter in anioma creation agenda.
Nwoko maintained that, president Ahmed Bola Tinubu and other national assembly members are in support of anioma creation agenda, which has passed the first reading and other processes at the hallow chambers.
He calls on all anioma faithful to come out enmass to support him and that all hands must be on deck for the betterment of anioma/Delta State.
Speaking at the international women’s day celebration, Chief Hon. Rita Daniels Chukwuji said that, she is overwhelmed to see the numbers of women both far and near at the celebration.
Chukwuji added that, she will be in support of the women when call upon anytime, anyday and promised to carry them along.
The guest speaker on healthcare, Mrs. Omozuma Eki Christiana , principal nursing officer, federal medical centre Asaba Delta State.
She calls on women to exercise their body system at all time, check their Blood Pressure, Sugar Test and other medical fitnesses which will reduced the body from being sick.
At the celebration hall, She supported the women with Hairdryers, Grounding Machines, Ovens, Sewing Machine and Hand Blenders.
Rita said that, those items given out to the beneficiaries will add more value to them if used properly and will reduced the number of hardship from them.
A beneficiary of sewing machine, Mrs. Okonkwo Tracy who spoke with journalists at the event, thanked Chief Hon. Rita Daniels Chukwuji for supporting them with those items.
She added that, the sewing machine will help her business grow from strength to strength and also take care of her family, promised to use the sewing machine carefully and joyfully.
