The Member representing Oshimili North in Delta State House of Assembly, Honourable Frank Esenwah has given an assurance of continued impactful representation of his constituents.
Hon Esenwah who spoke during a media parley in his office, hinted that he would be rolling out various empowerment packages for women, youths, and men in Oshimili North State Constituency in June to mark his two years as their representative in the Delta State House of Assembly.
The lawmaker who stated that he had co-sponsored some bills aimed at impacting meaningfully on the socio-economic development of the state, disclosed that he was considering working on two bills that he would singlehandedly present on the floor of the house at a later date.
He noted with satisfaction the successes recorded in the State House of Assembly under the leadership of the Rt Hon Speaker, Emomotimi Guwor.
Hon Esewah gave kudos to the State Governor, Elder Sheriff Oborevwori over his administration’s unprecedented performance within two years.
Esewah said, “the Governor has done well for Deltans, he has performed beyond expectations, including my expectations, I was shocked to see some of the roads that were done in my constituent when I went round Okpanam area, barely one in came and delivered Okpanam, Igbuzor connection”
” For a governor within two years has bagged two prestigious awards”.
He noted that Delta State is a big place and projects must be prioritized to service the area that needed it the most.
On the gullies ravaging Igbuzor, Illah, Amachai area of Okpanam and environs, the lawmaker representing Oshimili North in the Delta State House of Assembly expressed concern, saying that the state government was ware of the danger posed by such ecological trends, and was taking steps in collaboration with NEWMAP to tackle the gullies.
“The house I have in Illah, built more than twenty years ago, erosion is eating it up. There is a ravaging gully erosion in that area that can swallow three-storey building, My house is the last on the slope in that area, and is barely a hundred meters from the horrifying gullies and I have abandoned the house”, Esenwah lamented”
Hon Esenwah urged his constituents to continue to support the policies and programmes of the administration of Governor Oborevwori which according to him, are thoughtfully planned for the wellbeing of the people, and the overall development of the state.
