The Delta Sate Traffic Management Authority, DESTMA, has warned the general public against fake recruitment by impersonators, impersonating the commission by defrauding Deltans in the guise of fake employment.
This was disclosed in a press statement and signed by the Director General, Chief Benjamin Okiemute and was made available to journalists in Asaba, Delta State capital.
The Director General, Benjamin Okiemute, said DESMA is not recruiting and has not placed any advertisement either.
He noted that those parading themselves as recruiters were not staffed of DESTMA as Delta State Government has also not given a go-ahead for any recruitment to take place.
The DG explained and noted that there are procedures and protocols involved for recruitment to be carried out in any ministry, department, or agencies, thereby calling on Deltans to stay vigilant.
Okiemute, however, warned the imposters to desist from the act, or else they suffer the rot of the law when caught.
