The Apex body for Ndokwa Ethnic Nationality, Socio- Cultural, Socio-Economic Union, and Ndokwa Neku Union, (NNU) has called on the Federal Government to consider establishing a teaching hospital for the Federal University of Medical and Health Sciences, Kwale, Delta State, to support its vision.
The group also appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for deeming it economically beneficial and useful to site the Federal University of
Medical and Health Sciences in Ndokwa land.
This was disclosed in a statement that was signed by the president general of the Ndokwa Neku Union, Comrade Chief Amechi Asugwuni.
The statement reads, “The Apex Socio-Cultural and Socio-Economic Union of Ndokwa Ethnic
Nationality, Ndokwa Neku Union (NNU) appreciates the President of the
Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) for
deeming it economically beneficial and useful to site the Federal University of
Medical and Health Sciences in Ndokwa land.
” And in the same vein urges the
Federal Government to consider the establishment of a teaching hospital that
will provide the needed medical services and support to the Federal University
of Medical and Health Sciences, Kwale, Delta State.
“The President General of the NNU, Comrade Chief Amechi Asugwuni calls on
all relevant stakeholders to ensure that the Federal University of Medical and
Health Sciences, Kwale, receives adequate attention and support to aid its
smooth take off”.
“Comrade Chief Asugwuni on behalf of the NNU calls for the unity of all Ndokwa
sons and daughters to support this noble course of ensuring that a teaching
hospital is secured to aid the smooth running of academic activities of the
Federal University of Medical and Health Sciences, Kwale”.
