The Delta State Commissioner for Special Projects, Chief (Barr) Funyei Manager, has said the ongoing construction of the Enerhen Junction Flyover that is handled by the giant construction company Julius Berger will be ready in December.
Barr. Funyei also called on Deltans to continue to support the administration of Governor Oborevwori for more dividends in line with the MORE Agenda.
Manager disclosed this in Asaba while giving an update on the current state of work on the project.
He said, going by the speed of work, the project is 71 percent complete, with all the crossing beams fully crossed.
He said, “I can confidently tell you that we are 71 percent complete. Tentatively, we are looking at December, by God’s grace. Barring all unforeseen circumstances, we should be done to say we are ready for His Excellency to come and commission the project”.
He maintained that the state Governor’s love for Deltans cannot be overemphasized, noting that no Deltan is more important than others in the eyes of the governor, and his development stride cut across the 25 local government areas.
Barr. Funyei further noted that the Governor has done a lot regarding empowerment, and he is still doing more by even collaborating with the Federal Government.
According to him, “Governor’s love for all Deltans cannot be overemphasized, and no Deltan is more important than the other; that is how governance is supposed to be, because his MORE Agenda is for everybody to enjoy”.
He continued, “Oborevwori has done numerous empowerments, and he is still empowering; even collaborating with the Federal Government, he is doing a lot. I want Deltans to continue to support him so that he will continue to deliver on his MORE Agenda. It is now Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda, and that is the reality.”
