A prominent daughter of Lagos Iyede-Ame kingdom of Ward 9 in Ndokwa East and Adauzo of Ndokwa nation, Hon. Dr. Princess Ann Izi, JP, has commended the Executive Chairman of the LGA, Hon Chief Vincent Osilonya, on the construction and commissioning of the ultramodern , multimillion-naira Ibrede Community Hall in Ward 9.
The magnificent structure, according to Dame Izi, is a testament to Osilonya’s unwavering commitment to the development of Ibrede and Ndokwa East at large.
According to a congratulatory cum appreciation statement issued on Tuesday, December 17th, 2025, Hon. Izi added that the Ndokwa East Council Chairman’s dedication to improving the lives of the people through transformative infrastructure projects is truly inspiring and “will forever be remembered”.
Said the illustrious Ndoshimili daughter, “I commend your visionary leadership and tireless efforts in making this project a reality. The Ibrede Community Town Hall will serve as a hub for community engagement, empowerment, and progress, and I have no doubt that it will bring countless benefits to our people. “
The Adauzo of Ndokwa Nation also used the opportunity to appreciate Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for his unwavering support to the development of Ndokwa East and indeed the entire Ndokwa nation , while also thanking the state Deputy Governor, Sir Monday Onyeme, for gracing the occasion on behalf of the Governor.
She also appreciated the councilor representing Ward 17 in Ndokwa East, Hon. Prince David Iliromah, for his commitment and support towards the completion of the project, while congratulating the traditional ruler of Ibrede Kingdom, HRM Augustine Oghenejabor, JP, on the milestone achievement and for ensuring that the community remained peaceful throughout the period of the project’s construction and completion.
While expressing the mind of the Ibrede people that the ultra-modern town hall will be a symbol of unity, progress, and prosperity for the community, the seasoned marine expert and author charged other political representatives to work towards collaborative efforts by emulating this kind gesture of the Osilonya administration and delivering more dividends of democracy for Ward 9 communities, especially those kingdoms across the River Niger and across communities in Ward 9, Ndokwa East marginalized by past administrations.
