Dear Sons and Daughters of Umuseti,
I warmly welcome you all to the year 2026 with gratitude, pride, and renewed hope.
As we step into this new year, we reflect on what we achieved together in 2025 as a community. The past year was not without challenges, but it proved our strength, resilience, and capacity to act when we come together with a shared purpose. Through unity and commitment, Umuseti recorded visible progress that touched lives across generations.
In 2025, the Umu Ezeti Virtual Town Hall Platform moved beyond conversations into measurable action. We reached over 1,200 individuals through health interventions, youth programmes, women empowerment initiatives, education support, social awareness campaigns, and community recognition efforts. We provided free medical care to over 340 of our people, empowered more than 100 women with income generating skills, exposed hundreds of students to STEM opportunities, protected our youths through drug awareness campaigns, strengthened schools, and celebrated excellence among teachers and young achievers. These outcomes were made possible because sons and daughters of Umuseti chose to work together, give sacrificially, share ideas, and place community above self.
These achievements remind us of an important truth. Individual success alone cannot secure the future of our people. A broken community can destroy what you have laboured to build for yourself and your family. No matter how far we go personally, neglecting community matters puts everything at risk. This is why we must never take our eyes off Umuseti.
The year 2026 calls us to reimagine the future of our community with greater clarity and responsibility. It calls us to work in synergy, show deeper commitment, and take genuine interest in initiatives that promote growth, peace, and development. When we align our individual efforts with collective goals, progress becomes sustainable and inclusive.
This new year is an opportunity to strengthen trust, improve participation, support community driven projects, and raise a new generation that values service, integrity, and unity. It is a year to build on the strong foundation laid in 2025 and to scale our impact under the 2025 to 2030 Strategic Vision for a progressive and empowered Umuseti.
Let us move forward with hope anchored in action, unity guided by wisdom, and progress driven by accountability. Let us remain committed to shared responsibility, knowing that the strength of Umuseti lies in the commitment of its people.
