The Honourable Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Renewal, Delta State, Engr. Michael Anoka FNSE, has congratulated Deltans, especially the good people of Ndokwa Nation, on the successful entry into the year 2026.
The Commissioner expressed profound gratitude to God Almighty for His mercy, grace, divine providence, and protection over the lives of His children throughout the past year, describing 2025 as a year sustained by God’s unfailing love.
In his New Year message, Engr. Anoka expressed strong optimism that 2026 will be a year of renewed opportunities for Deltans across all sectors of the state.
He therefore called on all Deltans to renew their hope in the future, stressing that unity remain key to unlocking the numerous opportunities that the new year holds.
The Honourable Commissioner further urged Deltans to strengthen their support for the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori noting that the Governor remains fully committed and well-positioned to deliver MORE dividends of democracy in line with his administration’s mandate.
Engr. Anoka thanked Deltans for their unwavering love, trust, and solidarity, while paying special tribute to youths across the state for their remarkable support, enthusiasm, and confidence in his leadership throughout the past year.
He reassured the people of his continuous commitment to identify with them, support them, and provide opportunities in full alignment with the MORE Agenda of His Excellency the Governor.
While wishing Deltans particularly the good people of Ndokwa Nation a New Year filled with hope, peace, and renewed opportunities, the Honourable Commissioner reaffirmed his resolve to continue serving the state with sincerity, dedication, transparency, and unwavering commitment to the vision and direction of His Excellency the Governor.
