The Executive Chairman , Ukwuani Local Government Area, Hon. Barr C.S Possible Ajede has called on the Parents Teachers Association across Ukwuani to look into the moral upbringing of their Wards in line with the bibles admonition to train up a child in the way he should go ,even when he grows up, he would not depart from it.
Barr.Ajede made this call while playing host to P.T.A across Ukwuani in his Office, during their thank you visit to his office ,even as he stated that primary Schools in the area are part of his primary assignment and as such all complaints and constraints from Schools should be channelled to his office through the Education Secretary, Dcn. Monday Onoapkome without restraints.
The do more agenda Ambassador further lamented the poor attitude of Students in Public Schools, who spend money given to them by their parents on purposes other than that, for which it was released.
He emphasized that lapses as these ,when considered transient could result to raising uncultured children, who would subsequently make up an unruly society.
The Capacity Chairman of Ukwuani further unveiled that his cabinet has been able to take statistics of the needs of School in the area”We have identified some Schools who lack basic amenities, and adequate plans are in top gear to proffer solution to such problems,” he stressed.
The talk and do Chairman also noted his administration’s commitment to bringing solution to the needs of the Ebedei- Adonishaka market as soon as possible.
In their separate remarks, the P.T.A Chairmen from the four zones commended the education advocate for his unwavering support to the needs of public schools in areas of payment for First School Leaving Certificate examination registration fee for 32 primary schools across the area, provision of Learning Materials and School Uniforms for pupils in Ukwuani, while showering blessings on him and praying God to support and prosper him as he endeavours to do more for the Education sector, moving the Local Government area to greater heights.
