A Nigerian tailor simply identified as Ahmed has been arrested in kano today, August 5, after seven Russian flags were found with him.
Some End Bad Governance protesters in the North have been flying the Russian flag, calling on the Russian government to come and help them.
Over the weekend, photos of the protesters made the rounds on social media. A video of some tailors making the flags have also made the rounds on social media.
On Sunday, August 4, President Tinubu had a nationwide broadcast in which he cautioned protesters against being used to advance an agenda that could potentially undermine democratic progress.
