Pst Chukwuji Donates Writing Materials To Igbe Primary School(photos)

Irked by the rising cost of living and as schools in Delta State resume for 2024/2025 academic session reprieve came the way of pupils of Igbe Primary School, Ogume as an illustrious son Pst Timothy Chukwuji has donated writing materials to the students.

Aside from the writing materials he promised to be paying the security man of the school monthly allowance of N15,000. The colourful ceremony held today at the premises of the school.

Addressing the students Ego Dina Booth as he is fondly called by admirers and well wishers he said he decided to come to the aid of the students by way of giving them writing materials because he knows that times are hard and he wouldn’t like to hear that any of them dropped out of school simply because of lack of writing materials.


Each of them were given three copies each of 2A, 20 leaves, 40 leaves, 60 leaves, 80 leaves note books, Ruler, a Pencil, Eraser and Biro.

The students, parents and the management of the school were all beaming with charming smile and the shout of Ego Dina Booth rented the air. The young socialite and philanthropist promised to do in subsequent time .

The Headmistress Mrs Onyemunosa couldn’t hide her emotions and joy. She said she was particularly happy because this was happening within one week of her resumption as Headmistress of the school. “This is sign of more good things to come to the school”.

The CDC Chairman Mr Friday Chibeze was full of praise for Pst Timothy Chukwuji for his yeoman’s effort with a charge to other members of the community to take a cue.

Responding, Pst Chukwuji said, “it’s in my character to encourage learning and the best I could do was to support in any way I could.”


He used the occasion to toll the line of the CDC Chairman Mr Friday Chibeze by calling on money bags to invest in education in order to have the best brains in the society.

He equally urged the students to focus on their learning and never to see education as a scam. “I was a student like you. So don’t think that it is easy anywhere . If I didn’t show seriousness in my days as a student I probably may not have gotten to the level I have reached in my career. Education is key,” he intones.
