As the election of Community Newspaper Publishers under the aegis of Association Of Community Newspaper Publishers Of Nigeria (ACNPN), Delta State Council draws nearer, the Chairman,2024 Electoral Committee, Comrade Ifeoma Maduike, Publisher of Guide Express has disclosed that forms are available for sale.
Mrs Maduike made this known in a press statement signed and made available for Newsmen in Asaba, Delta State.
According to her, only members that attends monthly meetings and are financially up to date are qualified to purchase the forms and contest for elective positions.
She further revealed that forms for the various elective positions have been ongoing for sales for over three weeks now.
Mrs Ifeoma Maduike noted that the amount for obtaining forms for any of the following elective positions are as follows:
Chairman…250,000
Vice Chairman…200,000
Secretary…200,000
Treasurer…150,000
Asst Secretary…150,000
Fin Secretary…150,000
Auditor…100,000
Provost…100,000
The Chairman, Election Committee further added that members vying for positions are advised to contact Mrs Ifeoma Maduike to pick forms as election come up on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 as part of the activity marking the association’s Media Week.
She also explained that the election will usher a new administration that will pilot the affairs of the Association for another three years.
