
Those behind the Igbo propaganda are well aware that the zoning structure, which is not a constitutional status but convinient political sharing fomula to short change the south, must now be revisited. Twisting the narrative and raising unnecessary sentiments is nothing more than a calculated ploy to manipulate those who genuinely care. Ironically, it is these very individuals—versed in the realities of political restructuring—who should be leading the charge in enlightening our people, not misleading them.
When Warri State leverages the influence of their daughter to secure their state, those who fail to offer the necessary cohesion for negotiation will have deceived their people. This has always been the bane of development in our communities, fighting those who can actually make change possible. The reality is simple: the territories left off the table would have been the only thing left over for the rest of us.
We remain grateful for our Prince, Senator Ned Nwoko, whose strategic sacrifices have positioned Anioma for this historic moment. We will not take them for granted, and we will certainly maximize this opportunity.
Anioma State has been listed first for consideration by the constitutional review committee. Those who once called it a mirage—wake up and embrace the reality!
