The General Overseer of the Mega Praise Church of Christ Worldwide, Evangelist Hon. Michael Diden has Admonished Women to be submissive to their husbands at all times so that their marriages could stand the text of time.
Diden who admonished women on the occasion of the 7th edition of the National Women Convention of Mega Praise Church of Christ Worldwide, said the watch word of married women should be total faithfulness to their Husbands and Almighty God.
He added that women should ensure that their entire house hood fully enjoys the presence of God through constant and fervent prayers, the only Way they can be under His protection .
The former Delta State House of Assembly member who represented Warri North local government area at the Delta State House of Assembly, said the times we are in, are evil and men ought to pray enough while remaining close to God in these last days.
The guest Speaker Pastor Mrs Rachael Ikponmwoba from Benin city Edo State,who X- rayed the theme of the year, (Awake To Victory In Christ) appreciated Almighty God for the success of the 7th edition of the National Women Convention.
She applauded the General Overseer Hon. Diden and his wife Mrs Mary Diden , the National Women President of the church for their devotion and dedication to the work of God.
Pastor Ikponmwoba described Evangelist Mrs Diden as a woman with lovely spirit , hard working and a woman with the highest standard of benevolence who has touched everyone around her positively .
She prayed for the women and every member of the church to see the end of the year while asking Almighty God to always keep them in the faith.
The cleric enjoined the women to Stay Awake by equipping themselves with the word of God if they must enjoy Victory in Christ.
She remarked that if they must be on the lord’s side, they must Stay Awake from those things that are inimical to their marriages and embrace the spirit of God while being submissive to their husbands as well.
Mrs Ikponmwoba who read the scripture in the book of Palm 22-44 advised women to stop reporting their husbands to their family members emphasising that (wise women build their homes) and not to destroy it.
She remarked further that the woman as Christ Ambassador here on earth must stay Awake, buttressing her points in the book of Galatians 5, just as she prayed that evils of this time will never be issues of concern to any of them.
Evangelist Mrs Mary Diden, the Chief Host of the day, appreciated Almighty God and her husband who is the General overseer of the Ministry for the success of this year Convention.
She appreciated the guest speaker for her wonderful message which she claimed, has brought better understanding to members of the church on how best they could run their homes while cleaving to Almighty God.
Mary Diden who appreciated God for the children’s department which was renovated by the women of the church, appeals for financial support from other christian bodies, good spirited individuals, corporate organizations including politicians for the empowerment of about 600 ( six hundred) woman of the church slated for next year.
The programme of this year’s convention of the church featured , Dancing Competition, sword drill, cultural dance, the word, football competition, match pass, fashion parade, Drama, Health Talk, etc.
