Second Matriculation of Bellarks Polytechnic held News

The second Matriculation/Induction ceremony of Bellarks Polytechnic Kwale was held on Friday, April 1, 2022 at the school premises.
Over 50 students were inducted into the Polytechnic’s accredited five departments, namely: Department of Business Administration and Management, Department of Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Department of Computer Science, Department of Computer Engineering and Department of Statistics.
Speaking at the occasion, the Rector Dr Egbule AC Solomon enjoined the students to make the most of the opportunities provided for them by their parents/guardians by attending classes on a regular basis, and to avoid distractions, all forms of deviant behaviour and other vices and focus on why they are in the school.
“This year’s ceremony is especially exciting because you are the first students to be admitted to this wonderful institution of higher learning.”
He also charged the parents/guardians to join in the vision of preserving the legacy of the school which is centred on students acquiring the necessary skills that promote self reliance, thereby addressing Nigeria’s unemployment challenge. He said they hope to accomplish this by instilling in the students the vision and mission of the institution. “Our mission is to raise academics, professionals and entrepreneurs who will be effective by excelling in their professional fields, and to raise leaders who are whole in spirit, mind and body.”
“We have zero tolerance for any form of misconduct at Bellarks Polytechnic and we do not hesitate to sanction offenders. I also implore you to respect your colleagues and the Polytechnic’s staff in order to make your stay fruitful and productive. Be modest and decent in your dressing and approach to issues. Above all, strictly follow the rules and regulations outlined in the Students Handbook.”
“For us, competence and character make a nation, so my dear matriculants this is your time to carve a niche for yourself to show that you came from good homes. This is the time to make good use of the library and school facilities to blossom. This is your time to develop a specific skill and improve your business mindset.”
On their part, the students assured that they would be good ambassadors of the school.
The high point was entertainment of guests with food and drinks.
