In recognition of his ‘outstanding contribution to the advancement of education in Ndokwaland and Delta State as a whole’, Dr Charles Olisa, DESOPADEC Commissioner representing Ndokwa Nation, was today presented with an award by the management of Bellarks Polytechnic, Kwale. The presentation happened during the occasion of the 4th Matriculation Ceremony of the school.
Dr Charles Olisa who was in attendance at the
matriculation ceremony in solidarity with twenty of the matriculants who are beneficiaries of his scholarship programme, was shocked when he was called upon to receive the award. He expressed his gratitude to the management of the school for the honour and promised to keep doing his best to support the growth of education. He also admonished the students to take their studies seriously as education remained an invaluable asset to those who possess it.
The Visitor of the school, Pastor Joe Ebinum, a US based member of the governing council, Chief Solomon Igwulu, PDP Chairman of Ndokwa East LGA, Chief Vincent Osilonya, Head, education department, DESOPADEC, Chief J.P. Otuya, among others, were dignitaries present at the occasion.
