A private school in Port Harcourt sent its students to a public school to experience what education looks like in a government-owned school and this has divided opinions.
Some students of Charles Dale Memorial School were taken to Igwuruta Community Secondary School in Port-Harcourt.
The private school students had classes together with the public school students and they got to experience first-hand the state of public schools.
Photos were shared on social media and it generated mixed reviews.
Some hailed the exercise as a welcome development to make the private school students aware of their privileges and teach them to appreciate it.
Others questioned why the public school students were made to sit separate from the private school students, instead of allowing them to mingle.
Some said that those who planned the excursion did not take the public school students and their feelings into consideration.
Others also said it would only be fair that the public school students are also taken on a trip to the private school.
