I am directed to refer to the above subject for the information of the general public that the excutive chairman Hon Barr Possible Ajede has dissolved all Revenue Committees in the local Government with effect from Wednesday 24th July 2024.
- Sequel to the above, The chairman wishes to use this medium to appreciate all the dissolved members of the revenue committees for their commitments and adequate service delivery to the council.The chairman also requested the council staff in charge of revenue should return to the office and hand — over every documents in their possession to the Treasury office.
- Again, members of the public who are yet to meet up with year 2024 revenue of the local Government obligation are to approach the Treasury office, while the public Will be duely informed as soon as the new revenue team is constituted.
- Arising from the above ,anyone Caught collecting revenue in the name of the local Government will be dealt with in accordance with the Extant Laws of the land.
- All concerned are to strictly adhere to the above directive, please.
