TATAOBUZOGWU ASSUMES OFFICE AS DELTA ENERGY COMMISSIONER

Newly sworn in Delta State Commissioner for energy, Hon Sunday Tataobuzogwu has given assurance that he will pilot the activities of his ministry to realize the MORE agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration.

Hon Tataobuzogwu stated this in his office in Asaba while fielding questions from a team of journalists who visited him following his assumption of office.

The energy Commissioner who was the immediate past Chairman of Ika South local government area of Delta State described his new appointment as a great opportunity to contribute to the success of the MORE agenda of the administration of Governor Oborevwori.

He said as a grassroots man, he would bring his vast experience garnered over the years to bear in his new office.

Tataobuzogwu who affirmed that the energy sector is key to the overall development of any state or country as virtually everything is dependent on it, said he would assiduously to deliver on the mandate of the ministry .

He hinted that he would meticulously study the files inherited from his predecessor to get abreast of the scope of work, projects , policies, and programmes of the energy ministry to enable him to work effectively in line with the MORE agenda.

The Delta State new energy Commissioner also said he would be visiting the various departments and units of the ministry to assess situations.

He expressed gratitude to His Excellency, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for the appointment, assuring that he would give his best on the job.

Hon Sunday Tataobuzogwu was last week sworn in as Commissioner for energy along five other new commissioners, and six special advisers at the Unity hall, Delta State Government House Asaba .

At the ceremony, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori said”
Our dream here is the MORE Agenda. It is not just a slogan, but a philosophy of government that should be embraced and acted upon by all. The successful implementation of the policy priorities of the MORE Agenda requires the adoption of the seven C’s of teamwork, which are capability, cooperation, coordination, communication, cognition, coaching, and conditions. You must be intentional in your actions and utterances to foster understanding, build team effectiveness, and achieve lasting results.”
