The Executive Chairman of Ukwuani Local Government, Hon (Barr) C.S Possible Ajede, received the Delta State Taskforce on Environment led by the State Chairman, Chief Godspower Abiuwhu in his office today.
During the visit, the Council Boss commended the Delta State Governor, His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, for initiating the State Taskforce on Environment. He described it as a laudable gesture aimed at making the state safer and healthier for the citizens.
Barr Ajede disclosed to the team that, in line with his #DoMoreAgenda Environmental Conversation Initiative of his administration that, he had earlier inaugurated a Taskforce on Environment to keep Ukwuani Clean. He said that the task force has been diligent and active in their duties.
Earlier in his presentation, the State Taskforce Chairman commended the Council Chairman for constituting a task force in the LGA. He also appealed to the Council to collaborate and synergize with the state task force.
