Earlier yesterday, the Executive Chairman of Ukwuani Local Government, Hon (Barr) C.S Possible Ajede, in continuation of his Back-to-School Campaign as part of his administration’s #DoMoreAgenda Education Development initiative, visited Grace-Filled Dominion Schools, Obiaruku, to distribute educational materials.
In his brief address at the private school directly opposite the Local Government Council, the Chairman reiterated his administration’s commitment to supporting the education of Ukwuani children and teenagers, especially at the foundational level of basic/primary education.
He noted that while public primary schools are mainly within his purview, he decided that the school should benefit from some of his administration’s education support programs due to its proximity to the Council. He also emphasized that the pupils and students of the private school are all Ukwuani children and encouraged them to focus on their education, pay close attention in class, and pursue their dreams vigorously.
Speaking further, the Ukwuani Council Boss urged the students to shun drug abuse, cultism, and truancy, stressing that those who tread the path of drugs, substance abuse, and cultism are living with regret today.
He commended the proprietor and teachers of the school for what he described as “doing a good job.”
