The Delta State Polytechnic Ogwashi-Uku contingents have set up their inventions and innovations at the Eagle Square, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja as The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TetFund) is set to host the maiden edition of the National Research Fair/Exhibition.
Theme: “Technologies For Massive Generation of Jobs and Wealth Creation Among Nigerians”.
The TetFair which is bid to run from today Monday 18th November through Thursday 21st November, 2024.
The Delta owned and foremost Polytechnic in west Africa is set to showcase their master class inventions ranging from the Smart Campus which is designed and targeted to profounding solutions to;
- Security on Campus by Applying Smart Technologies such as; Smart Access Cards, Security Motion Detector, Security Motion Sensor.
- Energy problems using Renewable Energy such as DSPG Modular Solar System Approach (Solar Generator System, Solar Switch)
- Improved Revenue Generation adopting Smart Screening Systems like Biometrics Authentication (finger Print Scanner, Facial/Irris Recognition System, and Voice activation system)
- Effective Teaching and learning as well as Research and Development
- Opportunity For Skills Development.
Others includes, Coconut Dehusking Machine, Melon Dehusking Machine, Chicken Defeathering Machine, Rice Destoning Machine, Corn Threshing Machine, Palm Fruit Digester Plantain and Fiber Extractor, Juice Extractor Machine, Yam Pounding Machine, Feed Pelleting Machine, Automatic Hand -Washing Machine, and Medical Ventilator Machine.
