Integrity Group Endorse Oborevwori For 2027, As Angeles Was Named Best Commissioner Of The Year - UABS

A political group, known as Integrity group, has unanimously endorsed the Delta state governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for second term.

The endorsement came during her leadership summit, themed: The MORE Agenda A Way of Life, held at Ochid Hotel, Asaba, Delta state capital.

The leadership summit, which was well attended by over 2000 members and PDP supporters across the 25 local government areas of the state.

Representing the Governor at the leadership summit, the Honourable Commissioner for Urban and Highways, Hon. Reuben Izeze commended the group for her unwavering support for his administration and the MORE Agenda.

The Governor noted that his administration has constructed 530 roads across the 25 local government areas, assuring that the administration will continue to do more for Deltans and all communities in the state will feel government present.

Oborevwori also revealed that pregnant women in the state will have free antenatal care in any public hospital in the state.

The Governor, however, appealed to Deltans to be a little patient and continue to show support for PDP led administration for more infrastructural development.

Also, commending the Integrity Group for honour bestowed on him as best commissioner of the year, the commissioner for Housing, Hon. Godkowns Angeles said he was overwhelmed for the group to name him best commissioner.

Angeles, however, dedicated the award to his principal Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for giving him the opportunity to serve and to all commissioners working tirelessly to ensure the MORE Agenda gets to every nook and cranny of the state

The commissioner encouraged the group to keep the unity and continue to support the state governor in all ramification

Earlier, during his opening remark, the Convener, Dr. Oke Idawene, said the leadership summit, themed “MORE Agenda : A way of Life” was a vision that has become a reality for a leader who would transform Delta State into the “Texas of Nigeria.”

He noted that the summit was also officially to Kickstart 4+4 declaration of a government led by the ‘Moses of our time’, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.

He expressed confidence that Oborevwori’s leadership in the state will execute divine projects that will not only be completed but will leave an indelible marks in the state and Deltans will be proud to have had such a visionary leader.

“The More Agenda is indeed a way of life because it is shaping Delta State through unparalleled infrastructural development. These projects are so impactful that they can be felt by the blind, heard by the deaf, and seen by all, evoking rejoicing everywhere.”

” Our Governor is being christened as The Inspiration. He has inspired us, inspired the Integrity Group, and inspired Deltans across board. Let us go to the mountains, over the hills, and everywhere proclaiming that Delta State is in safer hands under his leadership. This summit is primarily an opportunity to appreciate what has been achieved so far, for as the saying goes, “Appreciation is an application for more.”
