The Delta Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Ekemejero Ohwovoriole SAN, the Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice, Mr. Omamuzo Erebe and staff of the Ministry of Justice have held a prayer session to commit the year 2025 into the hands of God and to appreciate Him for the success recorded in 2024.
Coordinating the prayer session at the Attorney-General’s office in Asaba, the Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary stated that the Ministry had reason to thank God for sparing the lives of all staff in 2024 and allowing them to see 2025.
He said that the achievements recorded by the Ministry in 2024 were not through their individual efforts or strength but by the Grace of God. He stated that even when some of them fell ill in 2024, God spared their lives and healed them from their diseases.
Erebe thanked God for the lives of the lawyers and staff of Ministry of Justice, noting that no fatalities were recorded in the several official travels embarked upon by staff of the Ministry all over the State and beyond in 2024.
The Solicitor-General also led staff to pray for God to continue giving the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice the wisdom to lead the Ministry to more successes in 2025. He prayed that the Ministry would surpass its achievements in 2025 .
The highlight of the event was the exchange of pleasantries between the Attorney–General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr Ekemejero Ohwovoriole SAN, the Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary, Mr Omamuzo Erebe, and staff of the Ministry, being the first working day of the year 2025.
