The National Chairman of All Progressive Congress,(APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, said, the creation of Anioma State is already a “Done Deal” during his official visit to Delta state.
The which was attended by notable APC chieftains from Delta and Edo States, and marked the formal reception of members of Delta Unity from Ika Federal Constituency into the All Progressive Congress.
At the event, the distinguished Senator, Representing Delta North Senatorial District, Senator Ned Nwoko, who is a major stakeholder in the party described the National Chairman visit and the occasion as a “defining moment for Delta politics and the good people of Anioma”
Speaking at the occasion, the National Chairman of All Progressive Congress, (APC), Dr. Ganduje said, “the creation of Anioma State is a done deal” while affirming that the APC’s member are fully aligned with the long-standing aspiration for Anioma State, assuring them that the President, APC Governors and the National Assembly are behind the Anioma State
He said; “The creation of Anioma State is not just an aspiration — it is a commitment. One that reflects equity, justice, and the unity of our Nation,” Ganduje stated.
Adding separately, the distinguished Senator, Representing Delta North Senatorial District, Senator Ned Nwoko, who is a major stakeholder in the party described the National Chairman visit and the occasion as a “defining moment for Delta politics and the good people of Anioma”
Nwoko, a vocal advocate for the creation of Anioma State, said the declaration by the National Chairman is a major milestone in the pursuit of fairness and regional balance.
“This is the clearest signal yet that the dream of Anioma State is not only alive but is now anchored at the very heart of national policymaking,”
“Our people deserve inclusion, and this is the pathway to lasting justice and balance in the Nigerian federation.”
The high-profile gathering reflects the growing strength of the APC in Delta State, particularly in Delta North, and signals a powerful alignment of grassroots support and national leadership in favor of state creation and political restructuring.
As the 2025 political landscape continues to evolve, the Anioma cause appears closer than ever to becoming a reality.
