An Abuja based media practitioner, Mr Victor Ogine has tied nuptial knot in a grand style.
Speaking to newsmen shortly after the marriage in Akure, the head quarter of Ondo state, he thanked God for fulfilling his dream of marrying the love of his life, Oluwadamilola.
While saying that marrying Damilola was the best thing that happened to him, he added that the success of his marriage was a proof that serving God pays the most.
The marriage which started at Ado- Kiti, Ekiti state capital, the home town of the bride, Oluwadamilola ended in Akure where the white wedding took place.
The marriage ceremony was well attended by the high and mighty in the society including politicians, civil servants, religious leaders, business men and women.
Barrister and Mrs Dayo Akinnaanu , the parents of the bride who spoke to newsmen during the program, thanked God for the success of the program.
They described Victor Afamefune Ogine as a perfect gentle man, focus, committed, brilliant and with the fear of God, saying that he has every quality a woman needs in a man, praying God to bless the couple.
Venerable Stephen Eletuyi who delivered a sermon during the wedding said marriage is an institution ordained by God .
He called on the couple to anchor their marriage on God, live with understanding, trust, peace and unity, adding that they should shun third party.
Venerable Eletuyi said the bride, Oluwadamilola is a virtuous woman that serves God diligently, saying that she is a blessing to her husband.
Oluwadamilola in her brief chat with newsmen, thanked God for making her dream come true.
She said she would continue to serve God, for granting her, her heart desire, adding that her husband Afamefune is something more than gold to her .
Mr Lanre Abiodu who chaired the occasion, urged the couple to apply the three C’s which include commitment, communication and compromise in their marriage to enable them enjoy marriage to the fullest.
Present also at the program were Mrs Justina Ogine, mother of the bride groom, pastor Basil Omenogor and others.
