Author, social activist and politician, Shehu Sabi has reacted to Nigeria’s absence from the 2024 World’s Happiest Countries list.
The list of the world’s happiest countries was released on Tuesday, March 19, with Finland topping the list, Denmark coming second and Iceland coming third. The UK moved from 19th place to 20th.
This research is based on a three-year average of each population’s assessment of their quality of life. It takes into account six key factors that impact happiness: social support, income, health, freedom, generosity, and the absence of corruption. It also investigates the distribution of happiness within countries.
Nigeria is not mentioned in the top 20. Reacting to this Shehu Sani tweeted;
