Be Committed To Oborevwori’s MORE AGENDA, Guwor Charges Newly Inaugurated Commissioners, Special Advisers

The Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has charged newly sworn in Commissioners and Special Advisers to be committed to ensuring that the state reaches its full potential in line with the Governor’s MORE AGENDA.

Guwor gave the charge in reaction to the successful inauguration of the six newly appointed Commissioners and six Special Advisers, by the State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori.

The speaker noted that the selections of the commissioners and special advisers in their various offices was a testament to their expertise, and dedication to public service, while urging the new appointees to work tirelessly to implement the vision and policies of Governor Oborevwori.

The Speaker disclosed this in a statement through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Nkem Nwaeke, and was made available to pressmen also urged the appointees to prioritize the welfare and development of the people.

The added that “the MORE agenda of Rt Hon Oborevwori is achievable with determination and the support of all critical stakeholders”.

Guwor, however, emphasized the need for them to foster collaboration and synergy between the state Legislature, other arms of government.

“Once again, I congratulate the new appointees, including Commissioners and Special Advisers, on their successful swearing-in. I charge them to uphold the principles of good governance, integrity, and excellence.

“I look forward to their support to the legislative agenda of the 8th Assembly, and to working with us on our efforts in passing more people-oriented bills for peace and good governance of the state”, Guwor stressed.
