Ndokwa Association In America, Atlanta Chapter in collaboration with Forster Paradise Orphanage Home organized what they called ‘Back to School’ programme for indigenous children of Ndokwa East. The programme was targeted at the primary and secondary school children of Ndokwa East extraction.
According to Antoinette Uzoka Proprietress of Forster Paradise Orphanage Home, Obetim Uno the Back to School programme is a yearly event of the Orphanage Home and that spirited sons, daughters and corporate organizations do sponsor the event.
All the communities in Ndokwa East were reached and fully represented. The ceremony held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the premises of the orphanage home.
Items given to them were notebooks, biros school bags, mathematical set, socks, eraser, pencil, shoes/sandals etc.
The children were all excited and expressed their joy to both the Atlanta Chapter of Ndokwa Association in America and Forster Paradise Orphanage Home.
On her part, Antoinette Uzoka, Proprietress Forster Paradise Orphanage Home extended her joy to Ndokwa Association In America, Atlanta Chapter and urged spirited groups and individuals to join the orphanage home in the Back To School programme.
