The immediate past secretary of the Benin Metropolitan-metro, of the Order of the Knights of St. Mulumba, Mr. Kerry Jackson has given a 7-days ultimatum for the withdrawal of his purported expulsion from the Order of the Knights.
Briefing newsmen at the state NUJ council in Asaba, Mr. Jackson said his expulsion from the order does not follow the constitutional guild line as stipulated in constitution of the Order in 2020.
Narrating his ordeal, Mr. Kerry Jackson accused the newly executive of the order that came in 2022 of trying to destroy the 2020 constitution to please the current leader of KSM, Sir Charles Mbelede.
He alleged that “Sir Charles Mbelede has introduced constitutional reform, which according to him does not go well with members of the Order”
He noted that “Sir Mbelede aim was to favour his wife at all cost by running a parallel government which is against the doctrine of the Knights of the Order and the constitution”
Mr. Jackson also alleged that the supreme leader. Sir Charles Mbelede uses the fund of the Knights of Order extravagantly on his wife as against the constitution.
