Known for his humanitarian gesture in supporting the vulnerable, the Honourable Commissioner, for Oil and Gas,and former Member, Delta State House of Assembly , Chief Peter Uviejitobor has said he will not relent in promoting the MORE Agenda of the State Governor in ensuring meaningful development across all and sundry.
The Commissioner, who recently doled out a whopping sum of N17 million to empower 150 people across his local government in Udu, emphasized that the empowerment would be a continuous exercise in as much as it’s aimed at promoting and spreading the dividends of Oborevwori’s administration to all.
The Commissioner said, “The empowerment initiative was borne out of my desire to promote Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda, which focuses on Meaningful development, Opportunity for all, Realistic reforms, and Enhancing peace and security.
” I could have used the money to buy a Venza or a landed property, but I decided to use it to empower 150 people of my political followers in Udu; this is just the first phase”.
“The aim is not for personal gain but for betterment of our people in the state ; you give back to the people so that they can be happy, and continue to support the administration of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
