A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Adauzo of Ndokwa Nation, Hon. Princess Dr. Ann Izi has called on party leaders and stakeholders to prioritize peace and reconciliation to move the party forward.
Speaking at the party’s senatorial stakeholders meeting on Saturday 25th October 2025, at Obiaruku, headquarters of Ukwuani local government area of Delta State, Hon. Izi emphasized the need for healing and forgiveness to galvanize the party’s fortunes in Delta North .
She commended the Delta North APC leadership, led by Ogbueshi Adizue Eluaka and the state party chairman, Elder Omeni Sobotie, for their efforts in promoting unity and cohesion among members. Hon. Izi urged party members to remain steadfast, embrace peace, and work towards building bridges, stressing that the APC offers room for everyone.
The APC chieftain also appealed to party faithfuls and executives to halt the wave of suspensions in the senatorial zone, emphasizing the need for collective effort to strengthen the party. She praised former Governor Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, Deputy Governor Sir Monday Onyeme, and APC National leaders from the zone for their roles in reshaping the APC narrative in Delta North.
She thanked the Delta North APC leadership, led by Ogbueshi Adizue Eluaka, and the state party Chairman, Elder Omeni Sobotie, for their untiring efforts towards bringing unity and cohesion between incoming and other members of the party.
The meeting concluded with renewed assurances from APC stakeholders to sustain peace, unity, and cooperation within the party while working towards strengthening the APC in Delta State.
